Bob Lucke is an accomplished executive with a wealth of experience in technology-based service organizations. During his 29 years of experience in the tradeshow industry, he led the largest and most profitable event services operating division. Bob is recognized for his in-depth knowledge of the industry, technology insights, deep customer relationships, and competitor awareness.
Bob joined Convention Data Services (CDS) in October 2011 as Vice President of Sales & Account Management. In his current role he leads a team focused on creating innovative opportunities for clients and their events. He oversees all aspects of account management in the sales and exhibitor services departments.
The needs of clients are Bob’s first priority. He believes that gaining an understanding of their business and creating a collaborative partnership is the key to success. Bob possesses the unique ability to bridge the gap between business and technology and to communicate in down-to-earth terms.
Prior to joining CDS, Lucke worked for Experient (formerly ExpoExchange) where he led the company’s product development initiatives, resulting in innovative client-focused offerings.
Lucke is a long-time member of several industry associations for tradeshow professionals, including the International Association of Exhibitions and Events and the Professional Convention Management Association. Lucke is based at the company’s headquarters in Bourne, Massachusetts.
